Donations and Payments

EqualFaith Worship makes giving easy for your community. Offerings, tithes, donations, and fundraisers all live in one place. Here's how to set them up and manage them.

Turning On Financial Features

Before anything shows up, you need to activate the giving tools.

Step 1: Log into your admin panel. Go to /admin/settings. Step 2: Scroll down until you see Toggle Features. Step 3: Look for the Financial Features section. You'll see four options: Step 4: Check the boxes for the ones you want. Turn on all four or just what you need. Step 5: Click Update.

After saving, new menu items will appear on your admin sidebar. Giving, Funding, Offerings, and Tithes. Each one is ready to use.

How Each Feature Works

Giving

General donations. Members and guests can give any amount at any time. No restrictions. The Giving section in your sidebar shows all donations received, who gave, how much, and through which payment gateway.

Tithe

Tithe tracking specifically for members. Members can log their tithes directly or admins can record them manually. The sidebar gives you a full history. Great for accountability and record keeping.

Offering

Offerings work like giving but are typically tied to specific services or events. You can track offerings separately from general donations. Helpful during services or special programs.

Funding

This is for campaigns and projects. Building fund, outreach, charity drive. Anything with a goal amount. Members can see the progress and contribute toward the target.

You can change what the texts are called. EG: "tithe" to "Campaigns" while it does sane thing.

Managing Donations

Once financial features are active, head to any of the new sidebar items. Each section works the same way.

Filter and Search

At the top of every list you can filter by date range, member name, amount, or payment method. Narrow down exactly what you need.

Print Reports

Need a physical copy or a PDF for a meeting? Click the Print button. EqualFaith Worship formats the records cleanly for printing or saving.

Guest Donations

Guest donations are fully supported. Someone doesn't need an account to give. Those donations still show up in your records with the guest's name and email.

Payment Gateways

EqualFaith Worship comes with 8 payment gateways built in. Members and guests can give using whichever one you've enabled.

The supported gateways are PayPal, Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave, etc.

You can turn individual gateways on or off from the payment settings area. If you need a gateway that isn't listed, we offer custom integration as an add-on service.

Multi-Currency Support

Different gateways support different currencies. EqualFaith Worship handles this automatically. A donor in the US can give in dollars through PayPal while a member in Lagos gives in naira through Paystack. Everything records cleanly in your dashboard.

Keeping Records

All donations, tithes, offerings, and funding contributions are stored permanently. You can go back years and find any transaction. Filter, search, print, repeat. Nothing gets lost.
